APPOINTMENT
IN ACCORDANCE with Chapter Eleven of the Constitution of
Kenya, Part V of the County Governments Act, 2012, and the Assumption of the Office of Governor Act, 2019, and following the approval by the
Homa Bay County Assembly, it is notified for general information that the
Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission, vide Gazette Notice
No. 12252 dated the 7th August, 2026, published Danish Otieno Onyango, as having met the constitutional and statutory requirements for appointment as Deputy Governor of Homa Bay County.
It is further notified that the swearing-in ceremony of Danish Otieno
Onyango, as the Deputy Governor of Homa Bay County, shall take place on the 13th August, 2026, at the Homa Bay County Headquarters in
Arujo, Homa Bay County, commencing at 10.00 a.m.
