SETTLEMENT

PURSUANT to the provisions of section 47 of the Physical and Land Use Planning Act, notice is given that the County Government of Mombasa intends to commence preparation of the Plans below: Title of the Plan Location Proposed Regularization of Vikobani Informal Settlement Miritini Ward Proposed Regularization of Miritini 1134 Informal Settlement Miritini Ward Proposed Regularization of Cheleng’a Informal Settlement Ziwa la Ngombe Ward Proposed Regularization of Bombo-Maziwani Informal Settlement Bamburi Ward Proposed Regularization of Owino Uhuru Informal Settlement Mikindani Ward Proposed Regularization of Shanzu Triangle Informal Settlement Shanzu Ward Proposed Regularization of Kadzonzo Informal Settlement Junda Ward The purpose of the Plans is to form basis for regularization of land tenure and improvement of basic infrastructure. The objectives of the Plans are; (i) Enhance security of land tenure, (ii) Regulate land use and development, (iii) Improve access to basic services and infrastructure for the community. Comments on the proposed plan may be directed to the County Director of Physical Planning, Bima Towers, 5th Floor, Mombasa, not later than 31st July, 2026. Dated the 10th July, 2026. MOHAMED H.
