APPOINTMENT
NOTICE is given to all Members of the County Assembly of
Kakamega and the general public, that pursuant to Standing Order No.
26 of the County Assembly of Kakamega Standing Orders, a special sitting of the County Assembly of Kakamega shall be held at the
County Assembly of Kakamega Chambers, on Tuesday the 18th
August, 2026, at 10.00 a.m., for purposes of deliberating on:
(a) the Report of the Committee on Appointments on approval hearing of the Nominees for appointment as Members of
Matunda, Malava and Butere Municipality Boards; and
(b) the Motion on the alleged non–payment of salaries, statutory deductions and employment benefits by Papaton Security
Services Limited to employees who were engaged under its security services contract with the County Government of
Kakamega.
