THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Kuria Mungai Mbogo (deceased), is registered as proprietor of all that piece of land containing 0.809 hectare or thereabouts, each, known as Nyandarua/Turasha/577 and 589, respectively, situate in the county of Nyandarua, and whereas in the Principal Magistrate’s Court at Engineer in Succession Cause No. 59 of 2018, has issued grant of letters of administration and certificate of confirmation of grant to (1) James Mbaria Kuria and (2) James Kanyiri Kuria, and whereas the said title deeds issued earlier to Kuria Mungai Mbogo (deceased) have been reported missing or lost, notice is given that after the expiration of sixty (60) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deeds and proceed with the registration of the instrument L.R.A. 39 and L.R.A. 42, and upon such registration, the land title deeds issued earlier to the said Kuria Mungai Mbogo (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
