GAZETTE NOTICE NO. 13016

PURSUANT to section 8 of the Statutory Instruments Act, the Cabinet Secretary for Health notifies the public that a Regulatory Impact Statement has been prepared for the draft East Africa Centre of Excellence in Urology and Nephrology Order, 2026, which has been made pursuant to section 3(1) of the State Corporations Act (Cap. 446). The primary objective of the proposed Order is to establish the East Africa Centre of Excellence in Urology and Nephrology, whose functions shall include providing specialised urological and nephrological services on referral from healthcare facilities within Kenya and the East African Community, and providing tertiary diagnostic services for patients with urological and nephrological conditions. This is therefore, to request the public and all persons who are likely to be affected by the proposed Order to submit written memoranda to reach the undersigned within fourteen (14) days from the date of this publication.
