THE CO-OPERATIVE SOCIETIES ACT

(Cap. 490)

REGISTRATION


WHEREAS pursuant to section 65 (1) of the Co-operative Societies Act, I have received application by three-fourth of the members of the Arimi Farmers Co-operative Society Limited. And whereas I am of the opinion that the said society should be dissolved. ° New therefore pursuant to section 65 (1) of the said Act, I cancel the registration of the society and order that it be liquidated Any member of the said society may within two (2) months of the date of this order, appeal to the Minister for Co-operative Development against the order. If no such appeal is presented within the time the order shall take effect upon the expiry thereof, And further pursuant to section 69, of the said Act, I appoint Scholastica Maiteka (Mrs.), P.O. Box 1609, Nakuru, to be liquidator and authorize her to take into her custody all the property of the society including such books and documents as are deemed necesssary for completion of the liquidation.
