IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred by section 5 (1) of the Magistrates’ Courts Act, the Chief Justice increases-the limit of jurisdiction of— JosePH R. KARANIJA senior principal magistrate, to Kenya shillings five hundred thousand (KSh. 500,000) with effect from ist March, 1998. Z. R. CHESONI, Chief Justice. Gazetre Notice No. 596 THE REGISTERED LAND ACT (Cap. 300, section 35) IssuE OF A New LAND TiTLE DEED WHEREAS Christopher Birundu (ID/0301266), of P.O. Box 52, Kisii in the Republic of Kenya, is registered as proprietor in absolute ownership interest of that piece of land containing 0.6 hectare or thereabouts, situate in the district of Kisii, registered under title No. Nyaribari Chache/B/B/Boburia/3002, and whereas sufficient evidence has been adduced to show that the land title deed issued thereof has been lost, notice is given that after the expiration of sixty (60) days from the date hereof, I shall issue a new land title deed provided that no objection has been received within that period.
