GAZETTE NOTICE NO. 1688

WHEREAS Kamutwa Kalalu (ID/6347352/69), of P.O. Box 22, Kakamega in the Republic of Kenya, is registered as. proprietor of that piece of land known as parcel No. Kakamega/ Lugari/1024, situate in the district of Kakamega, and whereas the High Court of Kenya at Kakamega, in civil suit No. 115 of 1997, has ordered that the said piece of land be transferred to Selina Kimaiyo (ID/143932/64), of P.O. Box 2, Lugari, and whereas the deputy registrar of the court has in pursuance to an order of the said court executed a transfer of the said piece of land in favour of Selina Kimaiyo, of P.O. Box 2, Lugari, and whereas all efforts made to compel the registered proprietor to surrender the land title deed issued in respect of the said piece of land to the land ‘registrar have failed, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with the registration of the said instrument of transfer and-issue a land title deed to the said Selina Kimaiyo, and upon such registration the land title deed issued earlier to the said Kamutwa Kalalu, shalt be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect. Dated the 9th April, 1998. A. O. AKELLO, Land Registrar, Kakamega District. objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with the registration of the said instrument of transfer and issue a land title deed to the said Peter Kauli Sawanga, and upon such registration the land title deed issued earlier to the said Reba M’Mbone Kalware, shall be deemed to be cancelied and of no effect.
