Gazetrre Norice No. 1677 THE REGISTERED LAND ACT (Cap. 300, section 33) REGISTRATION OF INSTRUMENT WHEREAS Maithews Owiti Odembo, of P.O. Box 66, Yala, is registered as proprietor of that piece of Jand known as No. East Gem/Gongo/198, measuring 0.6 hectare or thereabouts, situate in Siaya District, and whereas the resident magistrate’s court at ‘Siaya in civil case No. 51 of 1997, thas ordered that the said piece of land be subdivided and 0.3 hectare be transferred to Dorina Amolo Onyango, of P.O. Box’ 837, Kisumu, and whereas the senior resident magistrate has executed the mutation subdividing the said parcel of ‘and into two portions and whereas all efforts made to compel the registered proprietor to surrender the land title deed issued in respect of the said piece of land to the land registrar have failed, notice is given that afier the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof provided no valid objection has been received within that period, fl intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with registration of the mutation and transter documents and upon such registration the land title deed issued earlier to the said Mathews Owiti Odembo shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
