GAZETTE NOTICE NO. 3639

WHEREAS Gikonyo Njoroge Gikonyo (deceased), of P.O. Box 452, Thika in the Republic of Kenya, is registered as proprietor of that piece of land known as parcel No. Ngoliba “A”/T.58, situate in the district of Thika, and whereas the High Court of Kenya at Nairobi, in civil suit No. 1136 of 1997, has ordered that the said piece of land be inherited by (1) Damaris Wanjiru Gikonyo and (2) Joseph Njoroge Gikonyo, both of P.O. Box 452, Thika, and whereas the deputy registrar of the court has in pursuance to an order of the said court executed a succession of the said piece of land in favour of (1) Damaris Wanjiru Gikonyo and (2) Joseph Njoroge Gikonyo, both of P.O. Box 452, Thika, and whereas all efforts made to recover the land title deed issued in respect of the said piece of land to the land registrar have failed, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with the registration of the said succession documents and issue a land title deed to the said (1) Damaris Wanjiru Gikanyo and (2) Joseph Njoroge Gikonyo, and upon such registration the land title deed issued earlier to the said Gikonyo Njoroge Gikonyo (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
