THE SEEDS AND PLANT VARIETIES ACT

(Cap. 326)

APPOINTMENT

IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred by section 2 of the Seeds and Plant Varieties Act, the Minister for Agriculture appoints— Jeremiah Boinnet Kiplagat, Director, National Seed Quality Control Service, and Jackson Mwandoe Shuma, of the National Seed Quality Control Service, to be the authorized officer and deputy authorized officer, respectively, and official seed testers. The appointments are deemed to have been with effect from the dates the officers were assigned the functions under the Seeds and Plant Varieties (Seeds) Regulations, 1991 and the Act.
