GAZETTE NOTICE NO. 5144

WHEREAS pursuant to section 61 (1) of the Co-operative Societies Act, I have received applications by three-fourth of the members of Proctor and Allan Sacco Society Limited—CS/2497. ’ And whereas I anrof the opinion that the said society should be dissolved. Now therefore, pursuant to section 61 (1) of the said Act, I cancel the registration of the said society and order that it be liquidated. Any member of the said society may within two (2) months of the date of this order, appeal to the Minister for Co-operative Development against the order. If no such appeal is presented within the time, the order shall take effect upon the expiry thereof. ‘And further pursuant to section 65, of the said Act, I appoint G. K. Gachoka, auditor, of P.O. Box 32048, Nairobi, to be liquidator and authorize him to take into his custody all the property of the society including such books and documents as are deemed necessary for the completion of the liquidation.
