(GazEITE Noticr No. 4664 THE LOCAL ‘GOVERNMENT ACT (Cap. 265) INQUIRY PURSUANT to sections 5, 9, 12, 28 and 39 of the Local Government Act, the Minister for Local ‘Authorities proposes to exercise the powers conferred upon him in respect of Nandi Hills and Nyamira Town councils .to be up-graded_to municipal council status and in respeot of Sirisia, Molo and Nyansiongo own councils to alter boundaries by adding and in respect of Narok Town council to alter boundaries by reduction and in respect of Nyando, Bondo, Lugari and Butere-Mumias districts to create county councils, and in respect of Runyenjes Municipal -Gouncil to alter boundaries by reduction.
