GAZETTE NOTICE NO. 6651

WHEREAS (1) John N. Muchiri, (2) Francis Muchiri Ngaku, (3) Angelo Kivuti Muchiri, (4) Manas Weruma Muchiri and (5) Ceasar Muchiri, all of P.O. Box 394, Embu, in the Republic of Kenya, are registered as proprietors of those pieces of land known as parcel Nos. Gaturi/Nembure/7180, 7181, 7182, 7183 and 7184, respectively, situate in the district of Embu, and whereas the principal magistrate’s court at Embu, in civil suit No. 243 of 1990, has ordered that the said piece of land be annulled and the same to revert to the original No. Gaturi/Nembure/3118, and that the Diocese of Embu be given 2.0 acres out of the suit land, and whereas the executive officer of the court has in pursuance to an order of the said court executed a mutation document of the said pieces of land in favour of the Diocese of Embu, and whereas all efforts made to compel the registered proprietors to surrender the land title deeds issued in respect of the said pieces of land to the land registrar have failed, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deeds and proceed with the registration of the said mutation document and issue a land title deed to the said Diocese of Embu, and upon such registration the land title deeds issued earlier to the said (1) John N. Muchiri, (2) Francis Muchiri Ngaku, (3) Angelo Kivuti Muchiri, (4) Manas Weruma Muchiri and (5) Ceasar Muchiri, shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect. Dated the 27th November, 1998. B. M.
