THE REGISTERED LAND ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Wambu Mutu, of P.O. Box 752, Thika in the Republic of Kenya, is registered as proprietor of that piece of land known as parcel No. Chania/Makwa/1097, situate in the district of Thika, and whereas the principal magistrate’s court at Thika, in civil case No. 295 of 1984, has ordered that the said piece of land be transferred to (1) Wambu Mutu, to get 0.304 hectare, (2) John Gikunga Ngugi and (3) James Kinyanjui in equal shares, all of P.O. Box 752, Thika, and whereas all efforts made to recover the land title deed surrendered to the land registrar for cancellation have failed, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with the registration of the said instrument of transfer, and upon such registration the land title deed issued earlier to the said Wambu Mutu, shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
