WHEREAS, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 17 (1) of the Advocates Act, His Excellency the President and Commander- in-Chief of the Defence Forces of the Republic of Kenya on the 2nd August, 2022, conferred upon the following Advocates the rank of Senior Counsel, namely: McCourt Kevin Dermot, Mwaura Lillian Wakiiya, Gathenji Mbuth, Kibet Jinaro Kipkemoi, Kamau Karori, Mutua Eric Kyslo, Gichuhi Allen Waiyaki, Kanjama Charles Niiru. SN AWA WOM Now therefore, the Chief Justice and President of the Supreme Court of Kenya, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 18 (4) of the Advocates Act (Cap. 16), notifies for the general information of the public that the rank of Senior Counsel has been conferred upon the following Advocates, namely: McCourt Kevin Dermot, Mwaura Lillian Wakiiya, Gathenji Mbuthi, Kibet Jinaro Kipkemoi, Kamau Karori, Mutua Eric Kyalo, Gichuhi Allen Waiyaki, Kanjama Charles Njiru.
