IT IS notified for the information of the general public that
Pursuant to Article 176 of the Constitution of Kenya, 2010 as read together with section 12 (1), (2) and (3) (d) of the County
Governments Act, 2012, and sections 8, 9, 46 and the First Schedule of the County Assembly Services Act, 2017, the Nyeri County Assembly
Service Board invites applications from interested and qualified persons, being one man and woman, to serve as members of the
County Assembly Service Board.
The applicants must fulfil the following requirements —
(a) must not be a member of county assembly:
(b) must be a Kenyan citizen;
(c) holds a Degree from a University recognized in Kenya;
(d) has at least ten years’ experience in public affairs;
(e) meets the requirements of leadership and integrity in Chapter
Six of the Constitution of Kenya, 2010
Persons interested in filling the above positions should submit an application letter, detailed curriculum vitae and certified copies of relevant academic and supporting documents.

In addition to the requirements above, all applicants are required to obtain and submit (in triplicate) certified copies of the following documents:
(a) Current Certificate of Good Conduct from the National Police
Service.
(b) Current Compliance Certificate from the Higher Education
Loans Board.
(c) Current Clearance Certificate from a registered Credit
Reference Bureau.
(d) Current Tax Compliance Certificate from the Kenya Revenue
Authority.
(e) Valid Clearance Certificate from the Ethics and Anti-
Cormption Commission.
() National ID or Passport.
The applications should be addressed and delivered to the Office of the Clerk of the County Assembly of Nyeri, P.O. Box 162~10100, Nyeri, at County Assembly Buildings, Ruring’u, not later than 5.00

Pursuant to section 53 (4) and in the spirit of section 53 (5) of the
