THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Peter Gachuma Mwaura (deceased), is registered as proprietor of that piece of Jand containing 1.7806 hectares or thereabout, known as Karai/Gikambura/222, situate in the district of Kiambu, and whereas in the Senior Principal Magistrate’s Court at Kikuyu in succession cause No. 291 of 2018, has issued grant of letters of administration to Mary Njeri Gachuma, of P.O. Box 135, Kikuyu in Kenya, and whereas the land title deed issued earlier to Peter Gachuma Mwaura (deceased) has been reported missing or lost, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with the registration of the said instrument and RL. 19 and RL. 7 and issue a land title deed to the said Mary Njeri Gachuma, and upon such registration the land title deed issued earlier to the said Peter Gachuma Mwaura (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
