THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

(No. 3 of 2012)

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Filimon Ondiek Kiage (deceased), is registered as proprietor of all that piece of land containing 0.24 hectare or thereabouts, known as West Kasipul/Konyango Kokal/1601, situate in the district of Rachuonyo, and whereas the land certificate issued on 26th August, 1994 got lost and the matter reported at Oyugis police _ Station, and whereas transmission documents vide succession No. 349 - of 2015 at Homa Bay High Court are ready for registration, and whereas efforts to trace the said land certificate have failed, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with the registration of form R.L. 19 and R.L. 7 to read (1) Joseph Odhiambo Ondiek and (2) Zacharia Okoyo Ondiek, and upon such registration the land title deed issued earlier to the said Filimon Ondiek Kiage (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
