THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS James Muthui Muli (deceased), is registered as proprietor of that piece of land containing 4.6 hectares or thereabout, known as Kyangwithya/Tungutu/993, situate in the district of Kitui, and whereas the Chief Magistrates Court at Kitui in Succession Cause No. 114 of 2010, has issued grant of letters of administration to (1) Beatrice Muli Muthui and (2) Dixon Munyoki Muthwii, and whereas the land title deed issued earlier to James Muthui Muli (deceased) has been reported missing or lost, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with the registration of the said instrument L.R.A. 39 and L.R.A. 42, and upon such registration the land title deed issued earlier to the said James Muthui Muli (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
