THE LAND CONTROL ACT
(Cap. 302)
ESTABLISHMENT
IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred by section 5 of the Land
Control Act, the Cabinet Secretary for Lands, Public Works, Housing and Urban Development─
(a) applies the Act to the Sub-county named in the first column of the Schedule;
(b) establishes the Land Control Board named in the second column of the Schedule in the Sub-county named in the first column; and
(c) appoints the persons named in the third column of the Schedule to be members of the respective Land Control Board specified in the Second column for a period of three years, with effect from the 4th September, 2023.

THE KENYA GAZETTE
THE following notes are for the guidance of persons submitting “copy” for inclusion in the Kenya Gazette, Supplement, etc.:
(1) The Kenya Gazette contains Notices of a general nature which do not affect legislation. They are, therefore, submitted to the Government
Printer directly.
(2) Legislative Supplement contains Rules and Regulations which are issued by the National or County Governments. Because of this, they must be submitted to the Government Printer through the office of the
Attorney–General.
(3) Bill Supplement contains Bills which are for introduction in the
National Assembly, Senate or County Assemblies.
(4) Act Supplement contains Acts passed by the National Assembly, Senate or County Assemblies.
All “copy” submitted for publication should be prepared on one side of an
A4 sheet no matter how small the Notice is, each page being numbered and should be typed with double spacing. Copy should be clear, legible and contain no alterations.
Particular attention should be paid to the following points:
(i) Signature must be supported by rubber–stamping or typing the name of the signatory in capital letters.
(ii) Must be correct and filled in where necessary.
(iii) Care should be taken to ensure that all headings to Notices and references to legislation are up to date and conform with the Revised
Edition of the Laws of Kenya.

A.30 (1) All communication for publication in the Kenya Gazette should reach the Government Printer not later than Friday of the week before publication is desired.
(2) A State Department will be required to meet the cost of advertising in the
Kenya Gazette.
