APPOINTMENT

IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred by section 5 (1) (b) and section 9 (3) of the Power of Mercy Act, I, William Samoei Ruto, President of the Republic of Kenya and Commander-in-Chief of the Defence Forces, appoint— Lorna Mutoro Mumelo (Dr.), Patrick Musau Musila, John Kutswa Olaka, Edward Kibiwott Boor (Dr.), Rev. Humpton Rogers Namu, Bishar Maalim Abdullahi, Jane Wanjiru Kuria, to be members of the Advisory Committee on the Power of Mercy, for a period of five (5) years, with effect from the 5th October, 2023.
