GAZETTE NOTICE NO. 13321

NOTICE is given to the public that pursuant to the provisions of sections 13 (g), 40 (1, 2 and 3) 49, 9 (I) and 69 (1 and 2) of the Physical and Land Use Planning Act, 2019 read together with Legal Notices No. 159 of 2019 and No. 29 of 2020, notice is given that the preparation of the above-listed local physical and land use development plans was on the 30th August, 2023, completed. The local physical and land use development plans relate to settlements situated within West Pokot County. Copies of the development plans as prepared have been deposited for public inspection at the Ardhi House Offices of the County Executive Committee Member for Lands, Physical Planning, Housing, and Urban Development in Kapenguria, West Pokot County. The copies so deposited are available for inspection free of charge by all persons interested at Offices of the County Executive Committee Member for Lands, Physical Planning, Housing, and Urban Development in Kapenguria, West Pokot County addresses between 8.00 a.m. to 1.00 a.m. and 2.00 p.m. to 5.00 p.m., Monday to Friday. Any interested person(s) who wishes to make any representation in connection with or objection to the above-named development plans may send such representation in writing to be received by the County Executive Committee Member for Lands, Physical Planning, Housing and Urban Development, P.O. Box 222–30600, Kapenguria in Kenya, or through the email: lands@westpokot.go.ke within sixty (60) days from the date of publication of this notice and such representation or objection shall state the grounds on which it is made.
