THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

(No. 3 of 2012)

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Sospeter Mbogo Mwenje alias Mbogo Mwenje (deceased), is registered as proprietor of all that piece of land containing 1.9 hectares or thereabout, known as Kiine/Kibingoti/Nguguine/385, situate in the district of Kirinyaga, and whereas in the High Court of Kenya at Embu in succession cause no. 163 of 2010, has issued grant and confirmation letters to (1) Maina Mbogo (ID/0961151) and (2) Mary Nyambura Maina (ID/3407186), and whereas all efforts made to recover the land title deed and be surrendered to the land registrar for cancellation have failed, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with registration of the said administration letters to (1) Maina Mbogo (ID/0961151) and (2) Mary Nyambura Maina (ID/3407186), and upon such registration the land title deed issued earlier to the said Sospeter Mbogo Mwenje alias Mbogo Mwenje (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
