THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Kimemia Njuguna (deceased), is registered as proprietor of all that piece of land containing 3.38 hectares or thereabout, situate in the district of Kiambu, known as Githunguri/Githangari/1942, and whereas the Principal Magistrate’s Court at Githunguri in Succession Cause No. 147 of 2021, has issued grant of letters to (1) Mary Wanjiku Njuguna and (2) Arthur Njuguna Kongo, both of P.O. Box 529–00216, Githunguri in the Republic of Kenya, and whereas the said land title deed issued earlier to the said Kimemia Njuguna (deceased) has been reported as missing or lost, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with registration of the said (1) Mary Wanjiku Njuguna and (2) Arthur Njuguna Kongo, and upon such registration the land title deed issued earlier to the said Kimemia Njuguna (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
