THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Fred Mugavana alias Fred Kutuya (deceased), is registered as proprietor of all those pieces of land known as Butsotso/Bukura/1101, 167 and 215, respectively, situate in the district of Kakamega, and whereas the High Court of Kenya at Kakamega in Succession Cause no. E25 of 2022, has issued a grant of letters of administration and certificate of confirmation of grant in favour of Plati Timothy Mukabana, and whereas the said title deed issued earlier to Fred Mugavana alias Fred Kutuya (deceased), has been reported missing or lost, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with registration of the said application to be registered as proprietor by transmission L.R. 39 and R.L.40 and upon such registration the land title deed issued earlier to Fred Mugavana alias Fred Kutuya (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
