THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

(No. 3 of 2012)

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Jane Wanjiru Kamau (deceased), is registered as proprietor of that piece of land containing 0.60 hectare or thereabouts, known as Gaturi/Weru/4727, situate in the district of Embu, and whereas the Chief Magistrate’s Court at Embu in succession cause No. 241 of 2018, has directed that the said piece of land be registered in the name of (1) Kenneth Gatiu Kamau and (2) Florence Nyaguthii Kamau as administrators to the estate Jane Wanjiru Kamau (deceased), and whereas all the efforts made to recover the land title deed issued in respect of the said piece of land by the land Registrar have failed, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with the registration of the said grant document and land register to the said Kenneth Gatiu Kamau (ID/0265847) and (2) Florence Nyaguthii Kamau (ID/2916232) as administrators, and upon such registration the land title deed issued earlier to the said Jane Wanjiru Kamau (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
