THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

(No. 3 of 2012)

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS (1) Francis Amulioto Sakwa and (2) Ruth Amimo Muhaka, as administrators of the estate of Hosea Sakwa Silunya (deceased), of P.O. Box 25201–00100, Nairobi in the Republic of Kenya, are registered as proprietors of all that piece of land known as L.R. No. 36/III/1000, situate in the city of Nairobi in the Nairobi Area by virtue of an indenture of conveyance registered in volume N23, folio 351/14, file 7236, and whereas the land register in respect thereof is lost or destroyed, and whereas all efforts made to locate the said land register have failed, and whereas the proprietors have indemnified the Government of the Republic of Kenya against all claims that may be made after reconstruction of the register, notice is given that after the expiration of sixty (60) days from the date hereof, the land register shall be reconstructed under provisions of section 33 (5), provided that no objection has been received within that period.
