THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS James Ngugi Thotho (deceased), is registered as proprietor of that piece of land containing 0.607 hactare or thereabout, known as Nyandarua/Turasha/818, and whereas the Chief Magistrate’s Court at Gatundu in succession cause No. 188 of 2019, has issued letters of administration to Teresia Waithira Ngugi, and whereas the said land title deed issued earlier to James Ngugi Thotho (deceased) has been reported missing or lost, notice is given that after the expiration of sixty (60) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with the registration of the said instrument of L.R.A. 39 and L.R.A. 42, and upon such registration the land title deed issued earlier to the said James Ngugi Thotho (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
