THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Samson Ukusi Obunyali alias Samson Okusi Obunyali (deceased), is registered as proprietor of that piece of land containing 0.22 hectare or thereabouts, known as East Bunyore/Ebusamia/2763, situate in the district of Vihiga, and whereas in the Senior Principal Magistrate’s Court at Vihiga in succession cause no. E181 of 2022, has issued letters of administration in favour of Dorcas Isacha Ondigo, and whereas the said court has executed an application to be registered as proprietor by transmission R.L. 19 in respect of the said piece of land, and whereas the said title deed issued earlier to the said piece of land is missing or lost, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with the registration of the said application to be registered as proprietor by transmission R.L. 19 in the name of Dorcas Isacha Ondigo, and upon such registration the land title deed issued to the said Samson Ukusi Obunyali alias Samson Okusi Obunyali, shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
