THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Mohindra Mohanlal Maru alias Mahindra Mohanlal Maru, of P.O. Box 83415–80100, Mombasa in the Republic of Kenya, is registered as proprietor in freehold interest from the Government of Kenya of all that piece of land containing 0.0378 hectare or thereabouts, known as Plot No. 1983/III/MN, situate in North Mtwapa Creek in Kilifi district, registered as CR. 30673, and whereas sufficient evidence has been adduced to show that the register in respect of thereof is lost/destroyed, and whereas the owner has executed a deed of indemnity in favour of the Government, notice is given that after the expiration of sixty (60) days from the date hereof, I intend to proceed with the registration of the said instrument of indemnity and reconstruct the deed file as provided under the provision of section 33 (5) of the Act, provided that no objection has been received within that period.
