THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

(No. 3 of 2012)

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Francis Kithembe alias Kithembe Kathecha (deceased), is registered as proprietor of all that piece of land containing 2.02 hectares or thereabout, known as Mwerua/Kithumbu/407, situate in the district of Kirinyaga, and whereas in the Court at Kerugoya in succession cause No. E655 of 2021, has issued grant and confirmation letters to (1) John Githaka Githembe (ID/13695580) and (2) Elizabeth Kirigo Kithembe (ID/32486310), and whereas all efforts made to recover the land title deed and be surrendered to the land registrar for cancellation have failed, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with registration of the said administration letters to (1) John Githaka Githembe (ID/13695580) and (2) Elizabeth Kirigo Kithembe (ID/32486310), and upon such registration the land title deed issued earlier to the said Francis Kithembe alias Kithembe Kathecha (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
