THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

(No. 3 of 2012)

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Ann Gathoni Kihato alias Anne Gathoni Kihato (deceased), is registered as proprietor of all that piece of land situate in the district of Meru, known as Ngusishi Settlement Scheme/1933, and whereas the High Court in succession cause No. E341 of 2022, has issued grant of letters of administration and certificate of confirmation of grant in favour of Emmah Wandia Kihato, and whereas the said court has executed an application to be registered as proprietor by transmission R.L. 19 in respect of the said piece of land, and whereas the land title deed issued earlier to Ann Gathoni Kihato alias Anne Gathoni Kihato (deceased) has been reported missing or lost, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with the registration of the said instrument and R. L. 19, in the name of Emma Wandia Kihato, and upon such registration the land title deed issued earlier to the said Ann Gathoni Kihato alias Anne Gathoni Kihato (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
