GAZETTE NOTICE NO. 6208

NOTICE is given to all Members of the County Assembly of Murang’a and the general public that pursuant to Standing Order 31 of the County Assembly of Murang’a Standing Orders, I have appointed Wednesday, 17th May, 2023, as a day for special sittings of the County Assembly. The special sittings shall be held in the Murang’a County Assembly Chambers, opposite Ihura Stadium, Murang’a, at 9.30 a.m and 2.30 p.m. The business to be transacted at the special sittings shall be: (a) Consideration and adaption of a Report on County Integrated Development Plan 2023-2027. (b) Consideration and adaptation of a Report on Annual Development Plan, 2023/2024. (c) Consideration and adaptation of a Report on the County Fiscal Strategy Paper, 2023. (d) Consideration and adaption of a Report on Vetting of the nominee for appointment as Chief Officer, Trade, Industrialization and Co-operative Development. In accordance with Standing Order 31 (5) of the Murang’a County Assembly Standing Orders, the business specified in this notice shall be the only business before the County Assembly during the special sitting, following which the County Assembly shall stand adjourned until such a date that will be notified in the gazette.
