THE COMMUNITY LAND ACT

(No. 27 of 2016)

REGISTRATION

IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred by section 8 (1) of the Community Land Act, 2016, the Cabinet Secretary for Lands, Public Works, Housing and Urban Development in consultation with the County Government of Taita Taveta, has developed the adjudication programme for the communities in parts of Taita County set out in the second column of the Schedule. SCHEDULE County Community Location Taita Taveta Mgeno Mwatate Taita Taveta Mramba Mwatate The Land Adjudication Officer for Taita Taveta Community Land Registration Unit shall proceed to publish the notices of the intention to survey, demarcate and register communities and community land in the above Schedule as per section 8 (4) of the Community Land Act, 2016 and any law relating to adjudication of titles to land.
