WHEREAS Nyando Land Registration Unit, is a registration unit within Kisumu County in the Republic of Kenya established under the Land Registration (Registration Units) Order, 2017, and whereas all the land registers and parcel files containing land records or documents registered under title Nos. Kisumu/Border, Kisumu/Kochogo, Nyando/Kakola, Nyando/Katolo, Kisumu/Kabar, Kisumu/Wangaya I, Kisumu/Wangaya II, Kisumu/Sidho West, Kisumu/Sidho East, Kisumu/Kamagaga, Kisumu Tamu S.F.T. Kisumu/Muhoroni S.F.T., Kisumu/Songhor S.F.T, Kisumu/Koru S.F.T, Kisumu/Forter nan S.F.T, Kisumu/God Abuoro S.F.T, Kisumu/Oduwo S.FT Kisumu/Kibigori S.F.T, Kisumu Kibigori Plantation S.F.T, Kisumu Kipsamwe S.F.T, S. Nyakach/Agoro East, Ahero Township, Chemili Township, Tamu Township, Songhor Township, Chemelil/Ngeta Township, Kisumu/Muhoroni Township, (Shauri Yako), Kisumu/Muhoroni Township (Shauri Moyo), Kisumu/Muhoroni Township (Bondeni), Kisumu/Muhoroni Township (Swahili Village), Chemelil/Ngeta/BL1, Chemelil/Ngeta/BL2, Miwani/Miwani/BL4, Miwani/Miwani/BL5, Miwani/Miwani/BL8, Miwani/Miwani/BL3, Chemelil/Chemelil/BL2, were destroyed during a fire outbreak on the 18th of February, 2023, and whereas the registered proprietors, administrators, executors, chargees and persons with registered interests either by themselves or through their advocates, are supposed to present the original title documents, mutations, searches and other relevant documents at the registry for verification and authentication, and whereas the referenced documents should be accompanied with duly filled statutory forms LRA 14 and 17 for reconstruction of registers to indemnify the government of the Republic of Kenya from and against all actions, proceedings and claims that may arise after reconstruction of the registers, notice is given that after the expiration of sixty (60) days from the date hereof, the registers for the said pieces of land, shall be reconstructed provided that no objection has been received within that period.
