Pursuant to the provisions of section 31 (1) of the Physical Land Use Planning Act (PLUPA) No.13 of 2019, the Inter-County Joint Physical and Land Use Planning Committee for Konza Technopolis Buffer Zone planning in conjunction with the Ministry of Lands, Public Works, Housing and Urban Development and Konza Technopolis Development Authority (KoTDA) gives notice of intention to review the Konza Buffer Zone Plan, Approved Plan No. 03 of 2013. The purpose of the review is: (a) To update the Plan as a framework for development of the buffer zone around the Konza Technopolis. (b) To align the Approved Plan to the provisions of Section 29 of the Physical and Land Use Planning Act (PLUPA) that provides for preparation of Inter- County Physical and Land Use Development Plan. The Konza Technopolis Inter-County Physical and Land Use Development Plan will cover a buffer zone of ten (10) kilometers radius (68,195 acres) around the Konza Technopolis as shown in the Approved Plan No. 3 of 2013.
