THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

(No. 3 of 2012)

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS (1) Ismael Otieno Odongi and (2) Jesicah Adhiambo Odongi, are registered as proprietors of that piece of land containing 1.0 hectare or thereabouts, situate in the district of Siaya, known as Gem/Nyawara II/402, and whereas the senior principal magistrate’s court at Siaya in ELC Case No. E55 of 2021, the court established that the land title deed was acquired fraudulently, it is hereby ordered vide the court decree that the land registrar to revoke the land title deed issued earlier to the said (1) Ismael Otieno Odongi and (2) Jesicah Adhiambo Odongi, and be reverted it to Otieno Muga alias Alfred Otieno Muga (deceased), who was the original proprietor of this piece of land, and whereas all efforts made to recover the land title deed and be surrendered to the land registrar for cancellation have failed, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided that no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed, and proceed with the registration of the court decree.
