THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Kanja Gaitho (deceased), is registered as proprietor of all that piece of land containing 2.88 hectares or thereabout, known as Gatamaiyu/Nyanduma/887, situate in the district of Kiambu, and whereas the Chief Magistrates Court at Kiambu in succession cause No. E315 of 2022, has issued grant of letters of administration to (1) Solomon Kanja Gaitho and (2) Joseph Kanja Gaitho, both of P.O. Box 16, Kagwe in the Republic of Kenya, and whereas the said land title deed issued earlier to the said Kanja Gaitho (deceased), has been reported missing or lost, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with the registration of said instruments R.L. 19 and R.L. 7 and issue land title deed to the said (1) Solomon Kanja Gaitho and (2) Joseph Kanja Gaitho, upon such registration the land title deed issued earlier to the said Kanja Gaitho (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
