THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

(No. 3 of 2012)

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS (1) Maurice Amuhoyi Saya (deceased) and (2) Lydia Atieno Saya, both of P.O. Box 9001–00100, Nairobi in the Republic of Kenya, are registered as proprietors of all that piece of land containing 0.01290 hectare or thereabouts, known as Nairobi/Block 103/134, situate in the district of Nairobi, and whereas sufficient evidence has been adduced to show that the said certificate of lease issued thereof has been lost/misplaced, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said certificate of lease and proceed with the application by Lydia Atieno Saya to be registered as sole proprietor by removal of the name of Maurice Amuhoyi Saya (deceased), upon such registration the certificate of lease issued earlier to the said (1) Maurice Amuhoyi Saya (deceased) and (2) Lydia Atieno Saya, shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
