The County Government and the multi-nationals sign MoU
(Memorandum of Understanding) for the multinationals to provide public utilities to the community. Renewal of the leases to these lands be withheld until an agreement is reached with the respective County
Governments of Kericho and Bomet.
With regard to rate and rent on such lands the Commission recommends that these should be enhanced to benefit national and county governments.
The Commission orders that all 999 year old leases should be converted to the Constitutional requirement of 99 years.

The County Government and the multi-nationals sign a MoU
(Memorandum of Understanding) for the multinationals to provide public utilities to the community.
The Commission further recommends that the renewal of the leases to these lands be held in abeyance until an agreement is reached with the respective county governments.
With regard to rates and rent on such lands, the Commission recommends that these should be enhanced to benefit national and county governments.
The Commission maintains that all 999 year old leases be converted to the constitutional requirement of 99 years.
