IT IS notified for the information of the general public that pursuant to section 12 (1) of the County Governments Act, 2012, sections 8, 9 and 47 read together with Schedule of the County Assembly Services Act, 2017, the position of woman member of the Kwale County Assembly representing the public to be members of the County Assembly Services Board is declared vacant. Under section 9 of the County Assembly Services Act as follows— (a) is a citizen of Kenya; (b) holds a degree from a university recognition in Kenya; (c) has at least ten (10) years’ experience in public affairs; and (d) meets the requirements of leadership and integrity in Chapter Six of the Constitution. Interested persons who qualify to be members of the Board and who are not members of County Assembly are therefore invited to apply for the position by sending their resume, academic papers and supporting documents to the office of the Clerk located at the Kwale New Complex Assembly Building, adjacent to Kwale Water on or before 8th March, 2023 at 4.00 p.m. FATUMA H.
