THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Ephantus Chege Thuo (deceased), of P.O. Box 252, Kangema in the Republic of Kenya, is registered as proprietor of all that piece of land containing 0.263 hectare or thereabouts, known as Loc. 12/Sub Loc. 1/2584, situate in the district of Murang’a, and whereas in the Senior Principal Magistrate’s Court at Kangema in succession Cause No. 158 of 2019, has issued grant and confirmation letters to Hanna Wanjiku Chege, and whereas all efforts made to recover the land title deed and be surrendered to the land registrar for cancellation have failed, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with registration of the said grant document and issue land title deed to the said Hanna Wanjiku Chege, and upon such registration the land title deed issued earlier to the said Ephantus Chege Thuo (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
