THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Mary Wanjiru Karanja alias Wanjiro Karanja Kahiri (deceased), is registered as proprietor of all that piece of land known as Dundori/Lanet Block 4/1419 (Nyonjoro), situate in the district of Nakuru, and whereas the Chief Magistrate's Court of Kenya at Nakuru in Succession Cause No. E197 of 2020, has issued grant in favor of James Kariuki Karanja, whereas the said court has executed an application to be registered as proprietor by transmission of L.R.A. 50, and whereas the land title deed in respect of Mary Wanjiru Karanja alias Wanjiro Karanja Kahiri (deceased) is lost, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with the registration of the said application to be registered as proprietor by transmission L.R.A. 50 in the name of James Kariuki Karanja, and upon such registration the land title deed issued earlier to the said Mary Wanjiru Karanja alias Wanjiro Karanja Kahiri (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
