GAZETTE NOTICE NO. 13219

PURSUANT to section 12 of the County Governments Act, 2012, as read together with sections 8 and 9 and the First Schedule of the County Assembly Services Act, 2017, the County Assembly of Kitui declares vacancies in the positions of one man and one woman to serve as the external members of the County Assembly Service Board. Requirements for Appointment A person is eligible for appointment in this position if that person meets the criteria below— (a) is a Kenyan citizen; (b) holds a degree from a university recognized in Kenya: (c) has at least ten years’ experience in the public affairs; and (d) meets the requirements of leadership and integrity in Chapter six of the Constitution. Interested persons are to note that members of the Board serve on part time basis and their benefits and emoluments are as determined by the Salaries and Remuneration Commission. Application Criteria Persons interested in filling the above positions are required to submit their applications accompanied with the following documents: (a) Detailed curriculum vitae; (b) Copies of the relevant academic and professional certificates; (c) Copy of National ID or Passport; (d) Current clearance certificates from the following government institutions; (e) Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA); (f) High Education Loans Board (HELB); (g) Credit Reference Bureau (CRB); (h) Director of Criminal Investment (DCI); and (i) Ethics and Anti-corruption Commission (EACC).
