GAZETTE NOTICE NO. 11876

WHEREAS section 12 (3) (d) of the County Governments Act provides that the Board consists of one man and one woman appointed 7456 7456 by the county assembly from amongst persons experienced in public affairs, but are not members of the County Assembly. Further to this, section 1 of the First Schedule of the County Assembly Services Act and Standing Order 65 of the County Assembly of Kiambu Standing Orders, provides that upon convening of the first sitting of the county assembly, the Secretary of the Board shall, within fourteen days of the first sitting, declare a vacancy and invite interested qualified persons to apply. It is notified for the information of the general public that pursuant to section 1 of the First Schedule of the County Assembly Services Act and Standing Order 65, the positions of two (2) members, a man and a woman of the County Assembly Service Board of Kiambu are declared vacant. It is further notified, in accordance with section 2 of the First Schedule of the County Assembly Services Act, any person qualified may make an application to the Secretary of the County Assembly Service Board of Kiambu at the Office of the Clerk of the County Assembly, County Assembly Buildings, Kiambu on or before Friday, the 14th October, 2022 at 5.00 p.m. Note: Full details can be accessed in the County Assembly’s website: https://www.kiambuassembly.go.ke Dated the 30th September, 2022.
