GAZETTE NOTICE NO. 12104

IT IS notified for the information of the general public that section 12 (3) (d) of the County Governments Act, 2012 as read together with section 9 of the County Assembly Services Act, 2017, provide that a person shall be qualified to be appointed as a member of the County Assembly Service Board if such person is a Kenyan citizen, holds a degree from a university recognized in Kenya and has at least ten (10) years experience in public affairs who shall be appointed in accordance with the First Schedule of the County Assembly Services Act, 2017. Pursuant to the above quoted legal provisions and Chapter Six of the Constitution, interested persons who qualify to serve as members of the County Assembly Service Board are therefore invited to submit their applications for nomination to the Busia County Assembly Service Board. Completed applications, clearance from relevant bodies, together with the curriculum vitae of the interested candidates and relevant supporting documents should be submitted to the Office of the Clerk at County Assembly buildings in Busia, not later than 5.00 p.m. on the 18th October, 2022.
