THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT
(No. 3 of 2012)
REGISTRATION
WHEREAS Eunice Wanjiru Mutunga (deceased), is registered as proprietor of all that piece of land containing 0.425 hectare or thereabouts, known as Ngariama/Merichi/979, situate in the district of
Kirinyaga, and whereas the Senior Resident Magistrate’s Court at
Kerugoya in Succession Cause No. 6 of 2014, has issued grant and confirmation letters to (1) Grace Wanjiru Maina (ID/13335735) and
(2) Susan Wanjiku Kiringi, and whereas all efforts made to recover the land title deed and be surrendered to the land registrar for cancellation have failed, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with registration of the said grant document and issue land title deed to the said (1) Grace Wanjiru
Maina (ID/13335735) and (2) Susan Wanjiku Kiringi, and upon such registration the land title deed issued earlier to the said Eunice Wanjiru
Mutunga (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.

THE KENYA GAZETTE
THE following notes are for the guidance of persons submitting “copy” for inclusion in the Kenya Gazette, Supplement, etc.:
(1) The Kenya Gazette contains Notices of a general nature which do not affect legislation. They are, therefore, submitted to the Government
Printer directly.
(2) Legislative Supplement contains Rules and Regulations which are issued by the National or county Governments. Because of this, they must be submitted to the Government Printer through the office of the
Attorney–General.
(3) Bill Supplement contains Bills which are for introduction in the
National Assembly, Senate or county Assemblies.
(4) Act Supplement contains Acts passed by the National Assembly, Senate or county Assemblies.
All “copy” submitted for publication should be prepared on one side of an
A4 sheet no matter how small the Notice is, each page being numbered and should be typed with double spacing. Copy should be clear, legible and contain no alterations.
Particular attention should be paid to the following points:
(i) Signature must be supported by rubber–stamping or typing the name of the signatory in capital letters.
(iii) Care should be taken to ensure that all headings to Notices and references to legislation are up to date and conform with the Revised
Edition of the Laws of Kenya.
