IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred by section 11 (1) of the Assumption of the Office of the Governor Act, 2019, and pursuant to the gazettement by the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission of the election of the Governor and the Deputy Governor of the County Government of West Pokot, the Assumption of the Office of the Governor Committee notifies the public that the swearing-in ceremony of the Governor, Simon Kachapin Kitalei and Deputy Governor Achuale Robert Komolle, shall take place on Thursday, the 25th August, 2022, at Kishaunet ground in Kapenguria Town in West Pokot County, from 10.00 a.m. Dated the 16th August 2022.
