IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred by section 11 (1) of the Assumption of the Office of the Governor Act, 2019, and pursuant to the declaration by the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission of the election of the Governor-elect Mutula Kilonzo Jr. and the Deputy Governor-elect Lucy Mumbua Mulili of the County Government of Makueni on the 13th August, 2022, the Assumption of the Office of the Governor Committee notifies the public that the swearing-in ceremony of the Governor and Deputy Governor shall take place on Thursday, the 25th August, 2022, at Unoa Grounds, in Wote Town, in Makueni County, from 10.00 a.m. Dated the 17th August, 2022.
